<\/figure>\n\n\n\nThis is the view from my room. That’s Engie Stadium. It’s where Pearl Jam are playing tomorrow night. The event isn’t the CAA Women In Leadership conference, it’s Pearl Jam lol. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Now seeing as they are supported by The Pixies, and that’s who I really want to see, I thought maybe I should go. Looked up tickets. It’s reasonably easy to find single tickets so it’s on the agenda. And then I thought a little harder. Googled, and there was A PIXIES SIDESHOW TONIGHT! (Yeehah) Look it up on the venue website. SOLDOUT. (DAMMIT!). Start tinkering with Moshtix. GOT MYSELF A FUCKING TICKET TO ONE OF MY FAVOURITE FUCKING BANDS AT A FUCKING SOLDOUT SHOW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n They were awesome. Small venue. Very raw. Played all the bangers, played for a long time. I’m still hyped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It was a bit of a trek to get back to the hotel. It’s now pushing 1am. I’m in the middle of nowhere so nothing is open. The room is rubbish and there’s no minibar. I really wanted a drink. Lucky I always carry a hipflask of the whisky you give me. I’m drinking it as I write this. I’m all warm and fuzzy inside. Wish you were here.
